Here I will post pictures and suggestions on various designs. Under the "step by step", you can read more about how you make the different designs.

Some examples of what can be done with a small brush. Leopard pattern in different colors, "zip" and straight lines.

Leopard pattern is also ideal for toenails.

More designs with straight lines. Also two variants with stones.

Tip: Make sure your nails are clean before you paint them so the polish attach better. Given that most nail polish removers contain oil, I usually wash my hands, especially my nails with dish soap before I paint them.

Graffiti nails.

Nail art stickers are available in lots of different varieties.

You can mix and match as you like, all the nails do not need to be the same.

With a few simple stripes can get a nice pattern on your nails. Use one color to make a zebra / tiger pattern. Add glitter (or another color) to spice it up further.

You can also do the stripes straight over the nails. Do the stripes in two directions to a grid.

These are simple patterns to start with when straight lines are fairly easy to do, and it doesn't matter if it gets a bit uneven.
